GLOSSARY / Burndown Chart

Burndown Chart

Definition:

A Burndown Chart is a graphical representation of the remaining work (often measured in hours or story points) against the remaining time in a sprint or project. It helps teams visualize progress and forecast whether they are on track to meet their goals.

Example:

During a two-week sprint, a Scrum Master may review the Burndown Chart daily to see how quickly the team is completing tasks and to spot any potential blockers or delays.
