Recently AccuWeather signed a partnership agreement with a Swedish automotive brand to create the default weather app for all electric vehicles on Android Automotive OS (AAOS). They recruited TribalScale to build an application that translated their innovative digital strategy and featured a user experience optimized for driver safety.
Leveraging our design team’s research on AAOS technology, we built an MVP app that allows drivers to view and search for weather alerts and information directly from the screen of their vehicle’s infotainment system. The application will be included in every new electric vehicle produced by AccuWeather’s partner automotive brand, a projected 65,000 electric vehicles in 2022, growing to 290,000 by 2025.
