The most common thing I hear from CTOs and CIOs?
"Our models aren't the problem — our architecture is."
And they're right.

The real issue is that the enterprise architecture patterns we've relied on for the past 15 years — microservices, REST APIs, batch processing, traditional observability — were designed for a world where compute was expensive and latency was tolerable.
AI workloads operate under completely different constraints:
Latency matters in ways it never did before. Real-time AI applications need sub-100ms response times. That's not "nice to have" — it's the difference between a system that works and one that doesn't. 4. They're preparing their workforce for a different operating model
